The J2113A is an amplifier (SFA), or ground loop isolator, that provides the best isolation for low impedance measurements. The J2113A removes the group loops associated with VNAs and oscilloscopes that occur in many different types of test setups. Ground loops are often hidden and difficult to catch, and can significantly affect measurement results if not addressed. The frequency response of the J2113A, as shown below, is flat from DC to over 800MHz, while maintaining a 50Ohm impedance at the input and output for accurate, low-noise measurements. This allows measurements at both lower and higher frequencies than achievable with a common mode transformer. The J2113A supports power distribution network (PDN) measurements, component measurements, PSRR testing and many other applications.
