In July 2022, our Calibration Laboratory received accreditation with the number AP 209 granted by the Polish Center for Accreditation (PCA) under the EA MLA international agreement. Thus, the Laboratory confirmed compliance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" in the field of calibration of electrical quantities.
Ohm-Labs' CS series are precision current shunts designed for the most demanding measurements. The manufacturer assures long-term stability and low temperature and power coefficients. Designed for use in the laboratory, they are enclosed enough to be used over wide temperature ranges and under vibration and shock. Each shunt has an accredited calibration for the entire current rating.
Ohm-Labs current shunts have high agreement between AC and DC (difference estimated at 0.01% at 1kHz). The temperature coefficient of resistance is less than 5ppm/℃which minimizes the change in resistance during heat release (when high power).
Standard models are shown below, but other combinations are possible. For this, please contact our technical advisor.
Connection errors common in many shunts are minimized using an internal bus structure. Connections are made with gold-plated terminals that can be connected to banana connectors and connection plates.
Under the "Downloads" tab, there is a description of how to perform measurements using a 100ΩRTD connected to a current shunt ("Temperature Option"). With this, current-temperature characteristics can be acquired.
The basic models are shown below:
