The instrument allows you to perform measurements:
Short circuit loop impedance;
Short circuit loop impedance in circuits with RCD circuit breakers;
All parameters of residual current circuit breakers;
Continuity of protective and equipotential bonding (as required by PN-EN61557);
Voltage and frequency of the network.
Short-circuit loop impedance measurement can be carried out for a wide range of voltages (100...440V) in L-N, L-L, L-PE circuits. Measurements are performed using a method that guarantees high accuracy of the result (measurement range according to PN-EN61557 in the range of 0.13...2000). MPI-502 also allows the measurement of short circuit loop impedance in the L-PE circuit for networks protected by RCD circuit breakers, which is carried out with a very low current, but in a way that also ensures very high accuracy. Another function of the MPI-502 is the measurement of AC and A-type residual current circuit breakers; ordinary, selective and short-circuit breakers. Measurements can also be performed in Auto mode (several selected RCD measurements without triggering them again, including short circuit loop measurement). A unique feature is the ability to measure tripping time and current with only one breaker trip.
The measurement results stored in the memory (990 results of each type) can be transmitted wirelessly to a computer using the included adapter - radio receiver.
The modern housing with a large, easy-to-read display offers convenience of use, and also protects against possible damage. MPI-502 is an ideal choice for those who prefer small and handy devices.
