Product overview

The IT-M3100 series of DC power supplies breaks through traditional technical limitations. Thanks to its small size (just 1U Half-Rack), the device not only provides high output power, but also high efficiency and complexity. The IT-M3100 series models support parallel master-slave mode. The full range of models allows multiple stacking and parallel connection thanks to an easy-to-use plug-in "leg" design. A rack-mount kit allows convenient use of the compact power supply unit.

The IT-M3100 series consists of 12 power supply models that offer 6 voltage levels and can be combined to achieve different outputs. The devices in the series have a flexible modular architecture, independent multi-channel design and support synchronous operation. Users can configure each channel according to the test requirements of the DUT(device under test), up to a maximum of 16 x 16 channels, allowing users to meet diverse needs when using the device. The power supplies have a wide range of applications and are suitable for various applications such as R&D, design verification and integration of automatic test systems.

Feature presentation

Compact size - only 1/2 1U

The IT-M3100 series power supplies feature a very compact size - 1/2 1U. Nevertheless, its maximum output power is up to 850W. It is characterized not only by high power density, but also by high precision and resolution and reliable stability. The maximum output voltage is up to 600V, and the maximum output current is up to 100A. Since the output voltage and current are limited by power, a higher voltage can be obtained with a lower current, and a higher current can be obtained with a lower voltage. One device can be used for various applications.

CC&CV priority function

The IT-M3100 series has a CC/CV priority function. This makes testing easier, especially in applications such as fast power or no overcurrent. Users can achieve fast voltage rise time with the CV priority mode. This is helpful for high-speed voltage testing. Users can also select the CC priority mode to get current without overdrive. This is good for testing devices under CC operating conditions. It is used in various applications, such as laser test, IC test, charge and discharge test, simulation of power transients in automotive electronics, etc.

Synchronization

The IT-M3100 has a synchronization function between multiple channels. There are 3 options On/Off, Track, Duplicate. Synchronization works for On/Off, Save/Recall, Priority mode, rising or falling voltage and current value setting, and Protect function. Voltage change can be proportional between different units.

Independent multi-channel control, up to 256 channels

The IT-M3100 series is equipped with independent multi-channel design. The channel order is displayed when 16 IT-M3100 units are connected to form a multi-channel power system. After connecting the communication interface of one unit to a computer, the user can control each unit independently using computer software. Each channel can be operated separately. The IT-M3100 supports a maximum of 16*16 channels. There are 64 channels in one 37U rack enclosure. The user can test a device (DUT) with different power ranges through parallel connection This makes testing more flexible and the use of the device more efficient.

Modular design, flexibility and multi-combination capability

The IT-M3100 overcomes the limitations of traditional designs with its patented design and side ventilation. The flexible modular design facilitates direct stacking of the IT-M3100 without the need to purchase accessories. The open structure provides users with a variety of free combinations, just like block stacking, simple and convenient.

Battery charging function

The IT-M3100 series enables battery testing with its battery charging function. Users can set various parameters as shutdown conditions: voltage, current, capacity and charging time. When any of the above parameters meets the set condition, it will automatically disable the test. During the process, the user can observe the voltage, charging time and capacity. In addition, the IT-M3100 can be operated via software, providing a reliable solution for automatic testing.
