Ohm-Labs 2000 series forms a family of low-resistance standards designed as a standard for laboratory work with values between 0.00001Ω-1Ω. Technological advances in manufacturing and materials have ensured long-term stability.
The 2000-2003 models have nickel-chromium (Evanohm) elements carefully heat-treated for low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) values. These models can be used in oil at 25.0 ℃ or in air at 23℃with little degradation in accuracy.
The 2004-2005 models are made of copper-manganese (Manganin) elements packaged in a perforated can for better heat dissipation. These models are recommended for use at 25.0℃in mixed oil. They have a sensor in the form of a thermistor connected to a resistive element to monitor and apply temperature corrections.
All models are provided with ISO17025 accredited calibration reports, including temperature coefficient data. Intermediate resistance values (not listed below) can be purchased by special order.
