Ohm-Labs 100 Series forms a family of protective high-resistance standards. The company has pioneered the design of these types of resistances commercially, with hundreds of pieces of equipment supplied to laboratories around the world. Ohm-Labs resistances are suitable for use in the laboratory, or in field calibration. The low temperature coefficient allows use in a wide range of environmental conditions without a drop in accuracy. The hermetically sealed design provides resistance to pressure changes, as well as relative humidity changes. They are also resistant to moderate vibration or shock. Low reactance allows them to be used as DC and AC standards. All models are stored in aluminum (die-cast) boxes.
The included 10K (nominal at 25°C) thermistor is used to measure the temperature of a resistive standard. All models meet the ISO17025 standard of an accredited laboratory for the designated 2 values of voltage and temperature coefficient.
The protection is internally connected by a high value resistance nominally equal to the standard.
Connection is possible by means of: BPO, BNC, N-type. The shielding of the protection circuit is routed to the measured potential.
