The Chroma 61800 series consists of 3 models with current loads of 9kVA, 12kVA, 15kVA, where each includes either single-phase or three-phase mode. With voltage ranges as high as 350VLN and 606VLL, each model is capable of reaching 700VLN single-phase 3-cable setting. The user has the option of increasing the output power by connecting 3 units in parallel.
The Chroma 61809/61812/61815 models provide energy efficiency at the highest level. The power generated by the DUT during the test can easily be returned to the grid instead of being lost to heat. This process ensures environmental protection and minimizes the cost of the operation performed. Thanks to this attribute, the aforementioned models have applications in ECO products such as PV inverters, energy storage systems (ESS), power conditioning systems (PCS), microgrids, power-hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL), electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), on-board charger (OBC) and bidirectional on-board charger (BOBC), and many others....
For supervisory testing, models 61809/61812/61815 can be applied to IEC61000-3-2/-3-3/-3-11/-3-12 (international standard for AC voltage testing), IEEE 1547/IEC 62116 (international standard related to green power generation), electric vehicle-to-grid testing(V2G), electric vehicle load testing (V2L), electric vehicle-to-home testing (V2H), energy storage system (ESS) testing.
Full digital control provides max 350VLN output voltage and 30Hz - 100Hz output frequency range. Total harmonic dispersion factor is less than 0.5% at full load and 50/60Hz output. AC, DC and AC plus DC output modes can be used as DC test and AC test with DC bias. Current outputs provide 3 times RMS peak current, which is suitable for DUT inrush current test applications.
The 61800 series models can also provide precise measurements of RMS voltage, RMS current, active power, power factor (PF), peak current factor (CF) and more. Through the use of advanced DSP technology, these models are easily able to simulate power line disturbances (PLD) using LIST, PULSE, STEP modes. Additional options such as waveform synthesis allow users to program a variety of disturbed harmonic waveforms required by some standardization standards.
With a 5" LCD touch screen with an intuitive GUI, users are able to quickly familiarize themselves with the device's functions. Remote interfaces include connector standards such as USB, LAN, GPIB (optional), CAN (optional). The devices can be controlled via Chroma Softpanel software for high-speed digital operations. There is also connectivity to LabView software through drivers provided by the manufacturer.
