Product overview
LISN - Line Impedance Stabilization Network: are filter assemblies designed to filter out incoming interference from the power supply network, and redirect the interference generated by the EUT (device under test) to an output designed to connect an EMC receiver (or analyzer).
The TBL0550-1 5µH LISN is a device required for the configuration of conducted interference measurements of DC-powered electronic devices. It is designed for use in measurements in the frequency range of 150 kHz to 110 MHz in accordance with CISPR 16-1-2, CISPR-25, EN55025, MIL-STD-461F, ISO11452-4 and with DO-160 / ED- 14G and ISO 7637-2 limits.
LISN is inserted into the power line of the device under test. Conductive interference present at the power supply terminals of the device under test can be measured at the BNC connector using a spectrum analyzer or measurement receiver. The source (power) terminal and the DUT terminal are separated by a 5µH inductive coil.
The two TBL0550-1s in combination with the Tekbox LISN Mate allow separate measurement of common-mode and differential-mode disturbances.
The device is equipped with cables, appropriate connectors and grounding brackets to attach it to the ground plane.

Protection of spectrum analyzer / measurement receiver:
The TBL0550-1 LISN does not include any protective components in the RF path.
Use an external attenuator and/or limiter if your device may cause overvoltage or high RF noise levels, to protect the spectrum analyzer / measurement receiver input.
Safety:
The LISN chassis is connected to the SOURCE and DUT pin of the negative / ground terminal strip and the ground of the RF connector.
Inadvertent connection of positive voltage on the ground pin will expose you to the risk of electric shock.
Therefore, for safety reasons, the nominal operating voltage range is specified as 0-60 V.
