Chroma's 63600 series DC electronic loads are designed for testing electronic components and products such as: converters, DC/DC converters, fuel cells, chargers, batteries, server and atx power supplies, VRM / POL converters
Features:
Modular design - at the user's disposal mounting frames with sizes: 5 modules, 2 modules, 1 module (modular design allows you to mount any modules in the mounting frame).
Each module has a separate DSP processor for optimal performance in multi-module operation
Available modules:
63610-80-20 - 100 W x 2 / 80 V / 20 A
63630-80-60 - 300 W / 80 V / 60 A
63640-80-80 - 400 W / 80 V / 80 A
63630-600-15 - 300 W / 600 V / 15 A
Possibility of parallel connection of modules within a mounting frame (in master/slave mode) - maximum power 2000 W and parallel connection of 4 mounting frames - up to 40 channels, total power up to 8000 W
Low-voltage operation allows testing of low-voltage and high-current applications such as testing fuel cell DC/DC converters (typically 0.4 V at 80 A)
Unique CZ mode allows simulation of real loads taking into account inductance and capacitance - suitable for simulating inrush current tests or nonlinear loads at switching power supplies
Measurement: voltage with 0.0025% + 0.01% P.S. accuracy, current with 0.05% + 0.05% P.S. accuracy, power with 0.1%+ 0.1% P.S. accuracy.
Sweep Mode allows linear variation of load change frequency
Power supply overcurrent protection (OCP) testing function
Synchronous Dynamic Mode - dynamic load change synchronized across all modules (within a single mounting frame or combined mounting frames)
Ability to store up to 100 temporary load sequences - each module can operate separately or be synchronized with another module
Possibility to run GO/NG tests with setting of upper and lower limits
High-speed A/D converters allow samples to be recorded with a 2 us interval - so accurate Vpk measurement is possible
Timing mode allows measurement of voltage rise and fall times, calculation of battery discharge time, calculation of battery capacity
Ability to save real waveforms in the module's memory (using a PC) and reproduce them in the load (maximum 1.2 million points)
Simulation of a short circuit
Auto-test of the device at switch-on
Softpanel - friendly PC software for load control
Available interfaces: Ethernet, USB, GPIB
Full protection: OCP (overcurrent), OPP (overload), OTP (temperature) and OV alarm (overvoltage alarm)
