EN61000 is a standard for EMC testing for electronic and electrical products. EMC testing is also referred to as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It refers to the comprehensive evaluation of electromagnetic field interference (EMI) and anti-interference capability (EMS) of various electrical and electronic products.
It is one of the most important indicators of product quality. Taking the conducted immunity performance test as an example, the most widely used standards include:
Traditional solutions are characterized by low performance, complex waveform editing and even the need to resort to secondary development
To verify the anti-interference performance of electronic products to the power supply end, engineers often have to use programmable AC/DC sources to implement IEC61000 test items one by one through the waveform editing function of the equipment. However, even an experienced engineer who is familiar with the operation of the equipment has to spend a lot of time and carefully analyze irregular waveform editing - for example, when the waveform has a certain arc change and can't do anything, resulting in poor test performance.
ITECH's IT7800 series AC/DC source is currently the only test product on the market that provides built-in IEC61000 adjustments (4-11/4-13/4-14/4-28). Verification of compliance with the anti-interference standards is done in a much simplified way for the checker. The engineer needs to call up the standard from the menu, select the appropriate adjustment items and perform a simple configuration of the parameters, thus easily and efficiently conducting the test while eliminating unnecessary risk of additional costs.
